Solento Surf Festival 2022
Solento is made for those who appreciate the ritual of slowing down and being present, it is designed to connect people in meaningful ways. The Solento Surf Festival is an extension of just that.
This year's Solento Surf Festival featured four days of films, panel conversations, live music, surf, raffles, community building, and so much more at the iconic La Paloma Theatre and Seaside Reef.

The sold out event brought so much stoke to our team and community, all from Taylor Steele's vision to create a celebration of coming together to share films, music, and conversation.
The locations of the event also hold importance to Taylor.
La Palmona Theatre is where Taylor saw his first surf film. It's a place that inspired Taylor to create films and ultimately make a career out of it.
Seaside Reef, one of the surf spots highlighted in 'Momentum', is Taylor's home beach and where you can find him surfing in his off time.

This year's film lineup featured 10 films including Facing Monsters, Gravity, Interlusion, Physics of Noseriding, Sweet Adventure, Surf Film, Beyond Sunset, Everything to Me, Natural High, and The Rolling East!

To enrich the experience of seeing films on the big screen we invited filmmakers and key talent to join us on stage and talk process, inspiration, and everything in between. The final evening was host to the 30 year reunion of 'Momentum' with Benji Weatherley, Kalani Robb, Tim Curran, Kelly Slater, Taylor Knox, Taylor Steele, and Rob Machado.

The Solento Surf Festival was not only for the community to enjoy but to support charitable organizations that we think are very good causes, Changing Tides Foundation and Sustainable Surf.
